Overview
This 8-day journey highlights Uganda’s most iconic parks: Lake Mburo, Queen Elizabeth, and the famous Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. You’ll enjoy game drives, boat cruises, cultural experiences, and end with Uganda’s ultimate wildlife adventure: trekking endangered mountain gorillas. The safari begins and ends in Kampala/Entebbe, with private transport in a 4×4 Land Cruiser and an English-speaking guide.
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Kampala for leisure and overnight stay
After breakfast, depart Kampala for Lake Mburo National Park (4-5 hours’ drive), stopping at the Equator line for photos and demonstrations. Arrive for lunch, then embark on an afternoon game drive to spot zebras, impalas, elands, topis, buffaloes, and warthogs. End with a boat cruise on Lake Mburo to view hippos, crocodiles, and birds like African fish eagles and kingfishers. proceed back for dinner and overnight stay

Start with an early morning guided walking safari (unique to this park, as it's predator-free in some areas) to get close to wildlife and learn about the ecosystem. After lunch, enjoy another game drive. In the evening, return back to the lodge for leisure and overnight stay.

Breakfast, then drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (3-4 hours), Uganda's most biodiverse park. Arrive for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in the Kasenyi plains to search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, Uganda kobs, and over 600 bird species.

Early morning game drive to catch predators at dawn, spotting hyenas, warthogs, and antelopes. Return for lunch, then take a 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel (connecting Lakes George and Edward) for close-up views of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants drinking, and birds like yellow-billed storks and pelicans.
Optional evening game drive if energy allows.

After breakfast, transfer south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (4-5 hours), stopping in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth for a game drive to see famous tree-climbing lions lounging in fig trees, plus elephants and topis. Arrive in Bwindi for lunch, spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing.

Early breakfast, then head to the park headquarters for a briefing (7-8 AM). Join rangers for gorilla trekking in the misty forest, tracking a habituated family
(trek duration: 2-8 hours, depending on location). Spend 1 hour observing the gorillas up close – watch them feed, play, and interact. Return for a certificate, lunch,
and relaxation. Optional afternoon Batwa pygmy cultural visit to learn about indigenous hunter-gatherers. Meals: Breakfast, Packed Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, transfer to Kihihi Airstrip and take a flight to Entebbe later where you will board your flight back home
